![]() ![]() I’m just to happy to feel almost back to myself again! I will be waiting a few more weeks to gauge. I’m so glad I’ve gotten to this point where I feel normal but I don’t know if it’s worth me going through all this again for the second shot. Only addition was two doses of CBD tincture a day. Even before the symptoms I had been I’d been taking a multivitamin, apple cider vinegar capsules, a probiotic, Aller-flo (Costco version of Flonase) and Claritin daily. The right ear is still somewhat pulsating but I believe it’s my allergies as I’m familiar with the feeling. I don’t have the tingling sensations in my arms and toes anymore, and my face tingling has started to diminish as well. It’s been almost a week now and the last few days I’ve started to feel more normal. Well, all tests came back negative (thankfully) and apparently my symptoms were attributed to anxiety. Also had the doc check my ears for possible inflammation (ears were ringing and throbbing). Had a EKG, Ultrasound of legs (for assumed clot), bloodwork, and chest X-ray. I immediately thought the worst, including blood clot. I went to the urgent care on Tuesday 5/18 for some chest tightness, cramping in my left leg, and I broke out in a sweat. Ok so I thought I’d post an update since it’s been a couple weeks. Hope this helps anyone that’s going through this. ![]() ![]() He gave his blessing to move forward with the second dose based on the preliminary tests and discussion, but I am going to delay my second dose at this point and just have them do neuro tests for my own sanity. I also had Bell’s Palsy when I was 17 so of course I’m highly anxious about all of this. However, where they inject it should be in the meaty part of the muscle below deltoid but he did not want to comment further about it since the one who administers my shot probably “does hundreds a day.” He used that to relate to the muscle I had it injected in - so I should not be worried. As reassurance he mentioned that he does spinal taps all the time which hits all sorts of nerves and shock down patient’s legs but they don’t end up becoming paralyzed. What I’m experiencing is most likely benign anecdotally, developing neurological symptoms from vaccine has not been seen, as it’s still early. No big nerves in the upper arm, and injection needle is really small, so risk of damaging any nerves is very low. Possible that the injection itself hit a nerve which sent the shock through the body. Did some preliminary tests to make sure I don’t have GBS. Second shot is scheduled for this Thursday 5/13 but I’m thinking of delaying or not getting it at all.ĥ/11/21 UPDATE: Saw a neurologist (video visit). I am praying for us that this will go away. I have a video visit with the neuro tomorrow. The sprinkle of cold water droplets is the weirdest sensation! I met with a doctor (not my usual since their system was down) and he recommended I see a neurologist. Since the shot I’ve had tingling sensations in my left arm (injection arm) and down to my pinky and ring finger. Healthy overall, with seasonal allergies. Symptoms are exactly what I’m experiencing. ![]()
